Waluigi first debuted in the Mario Party series in Mario Party 3.

Waluigi has appeared in every Mario Party game since the third installment of the ever-popular series, except for Mario Party Advance. In Mario Party 3, he could only play in multi-player mode, but he has been a "fully" playable character in every other game. Waluigi first truly proved that he was an antagonist in his second appearance, Mario Party 3. After clearing the penultimate, Mario and his friends were ambushed by Bowser, who announces that the protagonists will have to fight him for the Mischief Star Stamp. Tumble then realizes the Star Stamp is missing and Waluigi reveals that he has stolen it. Bowser attacks Waluigi for the stamp, but is easily defeated. Waluigi then challenged the other party members to a duel his own board of explosive traps: Waluigi's Island. Despite his efforts, Waluigi was defeated and he forfeited the Star Stamp.
