Princess Daisy (デイジー姫) is often portrayed to be Princess Peach's best friend, as well as Luigi's answer to Mario's Peach. She hails from Sarasaland, and is the assumed ruler of the country. She wears a orange dress and a crown.

Daisy made her gaming debut appearance was in 1989 in Super Mario Land, where she was kidnapped by the tyrannical alien Tatanga who plans to marry Daisy and rule over her home Kingdom, Sarasaland. Mario eventually saved her. Daisy appeared later in NES Open Tournament Golf as Luigi's caddy. After a long hiatus of no game appearances, Daisy makes her return in the game Mario Tennis.

Daisy made her first in Mario Party games in Mario Party 3, where she contended with the player for the beauty star. She seduced the Millenium Star into getting it without a duel, but the Millenium Star was eventually snapped out of it and sent Daisy and the player to go the duel board Backtrack to see who can earn the Beaty Stamp. Before leaving, Daisy showed her strength and I-don't-care attitude by KO'ing Bowser in one punch when "he was in her way."
In Mario Party 4, Daisy, like every other character, had their own little dollhouse room filled with presents. Her presents were a Daisy doll, a bed, some flowers, a table, a side table, and a Bowser teapot. In Mario Party 5 Daisy and the gang try to get Bowser to stop messing with their dreams. In Mario Party 6 Daisy and the gang try to stop Twilla and Brighton from fueding too much. In Mario Party 7 Daisy and the gang try to stop Bowser from ruining their cruise around the world to exotic locations. In Mario Party 8 Daisy and the the gang try to see who can get a year's worth of candy and the Star Rod. And in Mario Party DS Daisy and the gang try to defeat Bowser after he shrinks them.
